Welcome to the official website of the West Point Crab Carnival!

The 28th Annual West Point Crab Carnival will be held Friday, October 1 and Saturday, October 2, 2010.

We are now taking applications for food concessions and would like to invite your organization to participate.Most food vendors concentrate on Saturday sales, but there are opportunities for Friday evening as well.  One registration fee will cover both days.  However, only ten vendors will be used for Friday night and applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis.  All activities will end at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, eliminating the need for food vendors Saturday night.

As in 2009, all participants including Chamber of Commerce members, will pay fees for booth space.  Also, beer vendors will be required to sell the brand or brands approved by the Crab Carnival Committee.

A temporary food event permit is required. Please see Health Department application under links provided at the bottom of this page.

On Saturday, meal tickets will be provided to members of the Virginia Department of Defense Force.  At the end of the day, these will be reimbursed to you through the Crab Carnival Food Committee or reimbursement may be mailed to you.
